History
Learn 'N' Laugh family day home has been servicing the Rocky Mountain House and Caroline communities for decades!
Our Educators are knowledgeable, educated and have years of experience in the child care field. Our Educators and staff are qualified Level 1-3.
The Learn 'N' Laugh Agency serves families in the Rocky Mountain House and Caroline area. We have Educators in both locations.
Our children are the future of our community and we are so grateful to be able to help guide them through their early years.
Licensed Day Homes
Licensed Family Day homes are committed to meeting Government Standards required in a Childcare Program.
Pre-screening of Day home Educators and their families includes:

RCMP Criminal Record Checks

Child Intervention Record Checks

Monitoring of Day homes. “We are the eyes in the home when you are not there”

Low Caregiver-to-child ratios. Maximum of 6 children in a Day home, not including Educators children.

2 children can be under 2 years old

Only 3 of 6 children under 3 years old

All the children are under 13 years old.

Activities and experiences are planned around the children's interests, through conversations with parents and the children, observations and learning stories.

Program planning meets children’s developmental domains: social, physical, intellectual, creative, emotional, literacy, dramatic play, physical literacy-indoor and outdoor, and fine motor skills.

Licensed Educators work with families to incorporate their experiences and cultural backgrounds into their Family Day home
